Privacy notice

This notice explains the data used to operate and evaluate the Nautical Connect private alpha.

Data we process

NC may process the request text you submit, your first name, contact detail, optional yacht name, supplier responses, request status information and technical security logs.

Why we use it

The data is used to match a request with relevant yachting service providers, deliver and track invitations, show the requester live status, operate the private alpha, protect the service and understand where the product works or fails.

Service providers

The alpha uses infrastructure and communication providers including Supabase for the database, Render for application hosting and Resend for transactional email.

Retention

Alpha data is retained while needed to operate, troubleshoot and evaluate the pilot. Data no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You may ask Nautical Connect to review, correct or delete information associated with your alpha participation.

Important alpha note

Nautical Connect is in private testing. Do not include passwords, payment-card data, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information in a service request.
